'Samphire' is a charming classic sloop, built by the highly regarded East coast shipwright G.E. Cardnell of Steeple in 1934. Her moderate draft and sea-kindly manner make her ideal for exploring shallower waters, whilst being easily handled thanks to her simple rig. She has been subject to a thorough four-year refit in 2012-2016,and she is presented in excellent all-round order ready for her next owner (2016 survey available) . Her impressive inventory includes hot water, a rebuilt engine, recent standing and running rigging, shore power and more. We would recommend an early viewing to avoid disappointment, and a 10m leasehold berth at Burnham Yacht Harbour is also available separately if required.
Viewing by prior appointment only through the Essex office on (01621) 785600

Although the current engine hours are showing at 1341 hours this is due to the meter being replaced with a second-hand gauge. The engine is believed to have only run for around 250hrs, has had a major overhaul as part of the refit and has only run for around 50hrs since. It appears in excellent cosmetic condition and the installation has clearly been carried out by an experienced engineer regardless of cost.
