This boat will prove to be a real contender in the 8-9 metre outboard market, with amazing visibility, lightness and use of space, as well as the model having inherited all the build quality and seakeeping ability we have come to expect from the Rodman Fisher and Crusier range.
This new range of outboard models will enable more first time boaters to get on board with Rodman, as well as those looking to trade up from smaller fishers. With a hull length of 8.9m, the 890 Ventura will be category B with 8 persons on board. It's up to you whether to have a version tailored for fishing or cruising. Where the boat is specified for fishing, the large cockpit space is left mostly free to allow the room you need, but features live baitwells, outdoor sink and wash off facilities and four rod holders. The cruising version features a triple panel glass sliding cockpit door to the saloon (as well as the side access door), and utilises the cockpit space for seating and dining areas, as well as having a huge bow cushion for sunbathing. It is also possible to mix the features of these different versions to get the boat setup which is just right for you. Whether you choose the fishing or the cruising version, you will still benefit from the deep, walkaround side decks which are synonymous with Rodman, as well a starboard side door for convenient access to the helm. The interior is light and fresh, using modern materials, and benefits from wonderful large side windows and either the triple panel glass sliding cockpit door, or large window aft if you have the fishing version, that together provide 360° visability, letting the light flood in.

Advanced Composites by Rodman: Experience
Over 40 years working with composite materials
Since 1974, we are working on the development and construction of composite materials products. More than 40 years of experience and know-how accumulated Rodman placed in a position of leadership in the composites industry.
Rodman Lusitania, strategically located in the North of Portugal and a few km from the border with Spain has 600,000 m2, divided into two buildings and an office center. The nave, with dimensions of 180 mx 90 m is the largest in Portugal in the sector and one of the largest in the Iberian Peninsula.
Our engineers and process development, study and analyze carefully the correct relationship between the choice of materials used, the design of parts and different manufacturing processes implemented to ensure that the end result meets the demands and requirements our client.
We implement a variety of transformation processes of composites: Light RTM, Infusion and Hand Lay-up prepregs.
Choosing appropriate materials and processes, it is performed in accordance with required design criteria, failing an objective specification, quality, environmental, cycle time and costs established.
By careful selection and combination of reinforcements, matrixes and calculation techniques and more accurate processing, our engineers and designers create products to meet the most demanding needs and demands.
Given the characteristics of the project and defined its specification, it is designed, the model is produced, the mold occurs and the part is manufactured. We use CAD / CAM systems and more appropriate if necessary proceed to finite element analysis (FEA).
Offer a comprehensive project under a global prism and full flexibility to adapt to our customers need at all times.
