This is one of the last narrowboats built by Steve Hudson. The quality of build is immediately obvious from the exterior with josher style lines, recessed panels and engraved portholes throughout which are double glazed and drop back providing ventilation. The owners input into the vessel is instantly evident with the large 1970 searchlight used for a tunnel lamp, which being a retired senior firefighter would have been easily sourced. There is a remarkable Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy serving as a tiller pin - this attention to detail and level of quality is clearly evident throughout creating a truly remarkable vessel. A folding Oyster Caro satellite system is discreetly positioned on the front of the roof. Internally the vessel has an exceptional Art Deco theme and you can immediately understand how this vessel took two years to craft with all the bespoke additions. The vessel is lined with solid oak T & G with secure remodelled Tiffany lamps which complement the rest of the vessel exquisitely. The saloon contains a sofa bed made by Elite Furnishings with a matching footstool. This upholstery is a running theme throughout the boat. However, the centrepiece of the saloon is the beautiful French Petit Godin solid fuel stove surrounded in Red Dragon granite and Stovax handmade English Rose tiles. The raised Pullman dinette is situated between the saloon and the galley allowing space for a 36 litre mini 12v Shoreline chest freezer underneath the seating. This also converts into a double bed for guests. There is a side hatch with glass inserts allowing a view out of the vessel whilst seated. On the backs of the dinette are 2 of the 5 stained glass panels on board that were reclaimed from the 1970’s and are housed in double glazed toughened glass, again highlighting the extraordinary level of detailing and thought that has been put into this vessel by the owner. The galley continues the Art Deco theme. No expense has been spared with Perrin & Rowe mixer taps over a deep fitting Belfast sink. Even the worktops are no ordinary galley worktops - these are made of a granite from Brazil called Red Dragon, this is complemented by the surrounding green and white metro tiling above the splash back. The galley is equipped with an eye level Thetford Prima cooker, a 12v Shoreline fridge, a Whirlpool microwave, a Hoover slim-line dishwasher situated underneath the cooker, a separate 4 burner hob along with ample storage in the hand crafted solid oak cupboards. There is a washer-dryer that is situated at the stern. The galley is overlooked by another stunning piece of reclaimed stained glass that has been reinforced in the Houdini hatch and a side hatch. The walkthrough bathroom contains a Leesan Headmaster Macerator pump-out toilet with a large 200 litre holding tank. There is an impressive 800mm x 800mm quadrant shower with Perrin & Rowe thermostatic shower set fitted with 10mm toughened easy clean glass. The vanity unit has an Art Deco white inset hand basin and Perrin & Rowe chrome classic tap. Thoughtfully, this is a tri-flow tap fitted to the sink enabling filtered drinking water if required. There is the benefit of a built in self pump-out kit and twin pump-out outlets. The main cabin is situated at the stern with a fixed double bed and ample storage; this makes a total of 6 berths on board. There is another stained glass panel at the head of the bed which is backlit with LED lighting making yet another impressive feature. There is also red LED lighting that compliments the feel of the room perfectly. In terms of technical specification the vessel has been superbly designed to have backups of backups. A Beta 43hp engine (1500 engine hours covered) provides the propulsion with a large hospital silencer, a fully soundproofed engine bay, a PRM gearbox and an upgraded 21” Axiom propeller. There is the added benefit of a remote controlled Vetus bow thruster. No expense has been spare on the extensive electrics that enable the vessel to be self-sufficient. They include: 240v landline, a Mastervolt 2.5kw combi inverter, a 3.5kw Travelpack generator, LED lighting, 1 starter, 5 leisure & 2 bow thruster batteries (AGM). The hot water on board is supplied by a 55 litre Calorifier, immersion and Eberspacher. The central heating is supplied by an Eberspacher DL5 and has an Alde heat exchanger fitted. The Alde heat exchanger not only has the benefit of a second form of central heating but also supports the engine to keep it cool with running in more strenuous waters. There are many other extras included in this sale. The attention to details must be seen to be fully appreciated. The pedigree of Steve Hudson as a boat builder along with the owner’s eye for style, detail and perfection has created one of the most exceptional narrowboats ever created.

When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our Company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.
This money never enters our company current account .This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.
We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
We are members of the British Marine Federation and we follow a strict code of practice regarding the above.
