Design & Build
: S563 Designed by Bill Dixon 2001 and built by G Collingwood Boatbuilders in 2002, Southampton, England. Launched in 2003.
Model
: One-off Bill Dixon designed 47 footer, the only one in the World.
Construction:
This CLASSIC vessel features a wood-epoxy construction, Brazilian 20mm Strip Cedar overlaid with 3 x 3mm of Khaya Mahogany, with Carbon spar and boom painted to look like wood and a foam-cored interior to minimize weight.
Features:
It has a classic topside appearance combined with a modern under-body, including a swing bulbed keel that reduces draft from 2.6m to 1.83m. The warm, elegant and rich interior is styled in an Edwardian fashion including a Vintage BLAKES hand operated toilet and basin. Showcasing 2 x set of Edinburgh Crystal in display cabinets
Racing History:
Formerly owned by Philippe Fabre, with significant wins at the Voiles d'Antibes and Régates Royales, 12 Rolex cup wins. Current Ownership: Owned and based in Antigua. Recent Performance: 2025 Freya won its class at the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta and In 2024 / 2025 took first in the Spirit of Tradition Concours d'Elégance.
