The 2001 Monterey 262 is a well-designed trailerable cruiser. Is equipped with a 2001 Mercruiser 5.7L with very low hours (200 Hrs) and a Bravo three outdrive with stainless steel props.
Below deck has standing cabin headroom The midcabin floorplan is arranged in the conventional manner with a dinette/V-berth forward, a small galley, standup head compartment, and a double berth aft beneath the raised bridge deck.
Above deck has a wraparound (walk-through) windshield, oval ports, and integral bow pulpit. The cockpit has plenty of space a built-in reclining lounge opposite the helm and the helm seat can be flipped up and turned into a leaning post for standup driving.
A wet bar was standard, and the transom seat folds away into the transom when more cockpit space is required.
