The vessel, built in 2013 and classified under ABS and flying Panama flag, embodies the Rolls-Roys UT-755 CD Norwegian design. Measuring 78.7 m in length overall (LOA) and 16 m in beam, this versatile workhorse has a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 3,176 T, a gross tonnage (GRT) of 2,644 T, and a net tonnage (NRT) of 985 T.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art DP2 Class system by Rolls-Royce, the vessel ensures precise positioning redundancy, safety and stability during offshore operations. The propulsion system comprises four Caterpillar C32 engines, delivering a combined power output of 3,640 kW (4,881 BHP). The vessel is further enhanced by two Rolls-Royce azimuth thrusters, each providing 1,470 kW, and two Rolls-Royce bow thrusters, each rated at 700 kW, facilitating excellent safety maneuverability within the 500m zones.
The deck area spans 670.0 square meters, designed to support a deck load of 5 tons per square meter, with a total deck capacity of 1,450 tons. Below deck, the vessel offers substantial capacities for various fluids: 887 cubic meters of fuel, 697 cubic meters of fresh water, 1,326 cubic meters of drill water, and 1,538 cubic meters of ballast water, which can be used interchangeably with drill water. Additionally, it holds 820 cubic meters of oil-based mud (OBM) and another 820 cubic meters of brine, also usable for mud storage.
Firefighting capabilities are robust, featuring a FiFi-I classed system with two pumps, each capable of delivering 1,600 cubic meters per hour, and two monitors, each rated at 1,200 cubic meters per hour. Accommodation is provided for 26 personnel, ensuring comfortable living quarters for extended operations. The vessel is equipped with a TTS knuckle boom deck crane with a 5-ton SWL capacity at 16 meters outreach, and a 15-man rigid hull rescue boat (FRC) powered by a 160 hp water-jet engine, emphasizing safety and operational efficiency.
Currently operating in the UAE, the vessel is anticipated to be available in the third quarter of 2024, with a price range of US$14-15 million. This vessel, with its comprehensive capabilities and modern design, stands as a reliable asset for various offshore support roles.
