Description

This ABS-classed, A1 semi-submersible tank barge was built in 2008 and is ideally suited for the transportation and submersion of offshore modules, jackets, and construction components, regardless of water depth. With an LOA of 122.0 m, a breadth of 36.58 m, and a max draft of 5.89 m, the barge offers a substantial free deck area of approximately 4,200 m² and a uniform deck loading capacity of 20 t/m². It has a DWT of 18,973.52 t at max draft, GRT of 9,772, and NRT of 2,931.
The unit is outfitted with 25 watertight compartments and 24 ballast tanks, supported by 2 ballast pumps rated at 1,000 m³/h each at approximately 25 m WH. Additional onboard systems include trim, heel, and draft indicators, a remote sounding system for all ballast tanks, and removable stern caissons to enhance submersion capability. Fuel storage capacity is 30 m³, and power is provided by 2 x 480 kW generators (440 V, 3Ph, 50 Hz). Anchoring is managed via a single anchor winch with a 3,540 kg stockless bow anchor.
With a max submerged draft of 14.62 m and a max submersion of 7.0 m above the main deck, this vessel is capable of precision positioning with respect to heel and trim under load.
