This isn't your typical 1981 build. Laid up and left dormant for over two decades, this Bruce Roberts Offshore 45 wasn't launched until 2004, and wasn't truly finished — mast stepped, sails bent on — until 2009/10. What followed was a decade of serious offshore cruising, and in the last two years, a comprehensive re-equip that's brought her fully up to modern bluewater standard.
The result: a proven, go-anywhere cutter with classic Bruce Roberts lines, a protected centre cockpit, and the kind of directional stability and heavy-weather manners that only a properly built full keel design delivers — now paired with essentially new rigging, power, water, and navigation systems.
For anyone thinking about a Caribbean season or an ocean crossing without wanting to take on someone else's project, she's about as turnkey as a 45-year-old design gets — and she's already positioned in the Caribbean, which saves a delivery passage for US/EU-based buyers.

Accommodation
The layout offers up to 7 berths in 2 cabins + saloon. There is full 6'3" standing headroom and good ventilation throughout.

Starting forward is the private guest stateroom which contains a decent sized V berth, and a single bunk, as well as plenty of storage and ventilation.

The saloon is roomy with settees either side of centre-line dinette table and storage outboard. New burgundy settee upholstery.

The galley is to starboard, aft of saloon and has a Force 10, 3 burner with oven and broiler propane gimballed stove set in a Corian counter. There is a 12v/110v Nova Kool fridge and freezer and double stainless sinks with pressurized hot and cold water. On the walk thru to the aft cabin there are plenty of storage lockers outboard and side access to the engine compartment to port. The engine is easily accessible on all sides.

The side facing nav station lies just aft and to port of the saloon complete with chart table, navigation and electrical panels.

The heads is to the port side aft of the nav station with manual heads wash basin and separate shower cubical.

The aft master cabin accessed via the walk thru on the starboard side has a centre line queen berth with plenty of storage and cubby holes for clothes.
