Humber Keel Barge Taurus 44ft x 17ft 6ins - Stern section
Built in 1921 as a working dumb barge to transport timber, Taurus was last used by Waddingtons. Initially 97ft long x 17ft 6ins wide she has been shortened and this is the beautifully shaped stern section which is 44ft long x 17ft 6ins wide. The hull is strongly constructed with best grade 10mm steel and is in excellent condition. She has had a new bow and a new fore deck built on and she has been ballasted with movable brick.
Taurus II is a blank canvas ready for anyone to create a spacious houseboat. Laying in Knottingley, West Yorkshire. Surveyors thickness measurements are available on request.
